Brooch for a chair, silver, gold plated, 2005

I never thought I would make a brooch like it, before I found this chair on the street. The chair is slender, made out very fine oak timber that gives it a remarkable lightness. When I took it home I realised that the reason it had been thrown away was that the wicker covering the seat, was worn out at one point, leaving a gap. I made a patch that would conceal this gap and protect the chair from further deterioration.
